Nancy Rawles was born in 1958 and raised in the enormous city
of Los Angeles. Two of her books Love Like Gumbo and Crawfish Dreams are based of families living in the Los
Angeles area. Not only is Rawles a novelist, she is a playwright, and a teacher. In total, Nancy Rawles has written three
books, My Jim, Love Like Gumbo, and Crawfish Dreams.
